Co-op Advertising or Financial Advertising Risk Reduction (FARR)

Co-op advertising is a phenomena that I absolutely love. I love it so much that I have come up with a concept that summarizes it for entrepreneurs by using a business model. The business model is Financial Advertising Risk Reduction (FARR) (patent pending). I am happy to bring this to entrepreneurs because I feel that Co-op advertising has many facets that have yet to be developed or researched. I have managed to grow large groups because of the concept, which really led to the creation of FARR. We are going to take the concept frame by frame over my next couple of Hubpages so you will have to come back frequently. Advertising dollars really make a program successful or not. Pooling financial revenues and targeting aggressive advertising will set savvy successful entrepreneurs ahead of the pack.

Co-op Advertising Back Ground

Co-op advertising can be traced back to the 1930's and has existed as a relationship that manufacturers have with retailers.  Typically the manufactures have the necessary co-op funds that an retailer can use to market the manufacturers product or services.  There is still an out of pocket cost that the retailer most come up with out of pocket for advertising.  The concept focused on combined financial risk when advertising was initiated and completed.

Going back through some of the research in co-op advertising, it was not one of the easiest programs for retailers and was not always widely used.  Some manufacturers were also reluctant to release advertising funds to the individual even when co-op funds were available.  It also seems that finding programs with co-op funding was coveted and only the elite need apply.

Fast forward to today and more and more co-op advertising is being used and has a couple of ways it can be utilized.  Financial Advertising Risk Reduction focuses on entrepreneurs that pool their resources and the outcomes that should be expected and information updates that need to be ungoing throughout the process.  Co-op advertising is a viable business option for those willing to break it down to it's foundations and rebuild it with unique concepts.
